The Importance of Sleep

Sleep is one of the most vital activities required for your body to refuel and recharge you for the next day.

Aiding recovery, the process of sleep re-energizes the body and helps to restore the energy expended during the day.

It is therefore very essential to attain sufficient hours of high-quality sleep every night and experiencing the full sleep cycle, including deep sleep and Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep.

To help achieve this, it is of extreme importance to sleep oriented in the correct direction.

Sleeping with one’s head oriented toward North must be avoided at all costs.

When one sleeps with their head oriented toward North, the North pole of Earth and that of the human body (located in our head) repel each other, affective blood circulation, causing disturbed sleep, tension, anxiety and other associated issues.
